Waste canvas provides an evenweave surface to cross stitch on other fabrics. After stitching, moisten and remove the waste canvas one thread at a time.

This fabric comes as one continuous roll. If you purchase more than one 1/2 yard increment, it will be delivered as a continuous piece (not cut).

A note on fabric count: Waste canvas comes in different sizes measured by “counts”. Counts = number of stitches per inch, so 14 count would be 14 stitches per inch and 10 count would be 10 stitches per inch. The higher the number of stitches per inch, the smaller the stitches (and your design) will be, because there are more stitches in each inch. For beginners, we recommend 10 count.
